Arthur Conan Doyle's Selecting a Ghost
Two Lines Productions, in collaboration with hip-hop dance group BirdGang Ltd, presents Arthur Conan Doyle’s Selecting a Ghost, newly adapted for the stage by Phil Cheadle. Supported by Arts Council England, this site-specific performance will take place at Stanley Arts Centre in Norwood, where Conan Doyle lived from 1891-1894, as part of the Stanley Arts Day of the Dead Festival.
Follow Silas and Matilda D’Odds as they search for a ghost to haunt their new home, Goresthorpe Grange, in a witty and unnerving tale.
Featuring Edward Bennett and Jade Williams, with direction by Phil Cheadle and choreography by Kendra ‘KRO’ Horsburgh and BirdGang Ltd, this adaptation brings Conan Doyle’s short story to life with a unique blend of theatre and hip-hop.
